Day 20 – Bedridden

Kiev, Ukraine

As I predicted in my last blog, I spent almost the entire day locked away in my private room at the hostel.

I didn’t sleep well last night so I ended up taking a long 6 hour nap during the day finally getting out of bed around 5pm.

I actually really need to figure out my itineraries for both Paris and London over the next few days as, after Warsaw, those will be my back-to-back stops the following two weeks.

I’m not making the same mistake as I did with Cuba and not planning anything.  With Paris, in particular, I’ll be staying at a hotel so there won’t be anyone to bounce ideas off of and go off on adventures with.

As much as I really do like winging it when it comes to travelling, major cities like Paris and London have so many attractions and day trips to do that I just can’t afford to waste time while there figuring out what to do.

So, with that in mind, I spent a good portion of tonight planning out my time in Paris.

I fly to Warsaw, Poland tomorrow afternoon for 3 days where I will, once again, in most likelihood just rest up and try to get back on my feet and shake this stupid stomach virus I have.

So, yeah, the next 3 blogs are probably gonna be boring as hell, but, hey, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tune in and see what’s going on…

Til tomorrow…
