The tweak I did to my right leg yesterday was bad.   So bad that I completely cancelled today’s plans because of it.

As I lay in bed last night it took forever to find a spot where my leg was folded in a way where it wasn’t throbbing in pain.

I held off on deciding whether I was going to go on my planned excursion today until the morning as I was hoping my leg would miracoulsy feel better this morning.

It didn’t…

I was going to take a bus and a short ferry to the largest of the Aran Islands – Inis Mor – to hike and bike around the island in the afternoon but the thought of being on a bus and then biking with a bum leg wasn’t so attractive.

So, I just bailed on the day and spent most of it hunkered down at the hostel.

Kinda sucked, but what can you do?

I gotta say I haven’t had the best luck on this trip – severe sunburn (seems like eons ago now), stomach issues for over a week, and now a tweaked leg muscle.

It’s certainly got me down and I’m giving serious thought to cutting my trip short.   I honestly am very on the fence as to what to do when April 11th arrives in just over 2 weeks.

I have a flight booked to Romania and on to Eastern Europe but I could easily just fly back home instead.

I’m thinking the bum leg is definitely affecting my thought process and my mood so I’m gonna let this pass and see where I’m at in a few days.

I’ll keep you all posted…
