Happy New Year!

Today was the Thai new year.

Back home we celebrate new years with champagne, black tie dinner parties and a ball drop at midnight.

Here they celebrate with water fights…

If you wanted to go outside today you had to be ready to be drenched.   You could not walk anywhere without someone squirting a water gun at you or pouring a bucket of water on you.

I went out twice today.   Both times to eat.   Both times I got soaked.

It was awesome!
