You know, sometimes you just need a vacation from your vacation.

I know it sounds weird, but travelling for so long and doing something day after day gets tiring!

So today, after a couple of long days, I took it easy.

Like, really easy…

I didn’t get out of bed til noon and even after that we didn’t go out til 2pm.

And what did we do?

Well, eat sushi of course!

Lots of it.

Of course…

It was such a nice day out that we walked into the center of town rather than take the subway like we had been.

We went to another sushi restaurant with a revolving conveyor belt rotating the different dishes around a track.   This place was cheaper than the place we had gone to the other day as each dish had 2 pieces on it and was a set price of 135 yen ($1.35).

I had 17 plates.

Now, that’s alot of sushi!

Still had room for ice cream though.   Of course in Japan where else but a vending machine would you get ice cream?

Seriously, they have wending machines for everything.

We walked around a bit after lunch but I was still pretty tired still so we just headed back to Ben’s place and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon and most of the night.

It was actually nice because I spent the time looking back at videos from the trip and remembering all the good times I’ve had the last few months.

At 10pm we finally headed out again.   We were hungry and needed a couple of drinks.

We stopped by a bar for a bit and had a couple of vodkas while we waited for Yuka.

Next we went to a mall nearby that had a bunch of restaurants open on their 6th floor til 5 in the morning.

We went to one that served ribs and had a few orders along with some salmon and ham flatbread.

Oh, and a couple of sangrias.

Yeah, I won’t lie, I was pretty drunk.

We grabbed a taxi and got home around 2 in the morning.

So, all in all, didn’t really do anything yet it was a great day.

Maybe I’ll do the same thing again tomorrow…
