Let the countdown of my final weekend on this trip begin!

At this point in my trip I’m honestly just trying to get to the finish line.

It’s been a rough trip and, sadly, I’ve had more lows than highs.

So, with that in mind, I just wanted to have a nice last few days of relaxing and doing absolutely nothing.

This morning I took an early morning train to the town of Inverness up in the highlands of Scotland.

Exiting the train I was in for a nice surprise – the town is small.   Like, really small.

My kinda town.

A town to just veg and relax.

The hostel was on the edge of the town but was still only a 10 minute walk from the train station.

I walked around town a bit looking for dinner and came upon a Chinese all you can eat buffet.

Um, yes.

You know you’ve officially tuned out of your trip when you have Chinese food in Scotland.

I don’t care, though – it was good and just what I wanted.

Keep the countdown going…
